Mistakes, I have made many,
But never for once
have I faked my feelings.
Love, I have felt it strong and deep,
But never have I taken
A step towards that love.
Hurt, I know you were,
But never did I do anything
Other than utter sorry.

I know things won't change,
I know you are impossible to reach,
I know nothing can be taken back,
Yet I long to hold you one last time,
I long to love you one last time.

Every time I see you,
I'm reminded of my mistakes,
Seeing you at arms length,
Yet unable to hold you,
That's the worst sentence
I will ever serve.

If I would have to conclude my life in one sentence, it would be:

"It's like watching my dreams turn into reality"

#poemfromgod

Learn my dear,
Learn to crawl,
Learn to walk,
Learn to run,
Learn to grow,
Learn to fly,
Learn my dear.

Learn from your mistakes,
Learn from others,
Learn from the stars and the moon,
Learn from the birds and the sky,
Learn from me and from you,
Learn my dear, learn.

Learn to let go,
Learn to forgive,
Learn to love,
Learn to give,
Learn all you can.
I'll keep teaching, till you learn it all.

A NEW DAY

It was a smooth journey,
Till I hit the humps and
Saw the road divide in two.
I was on my knee,
Shaken by the hit,
And filled with agony.
But then I gathered courage,
Stood up again, Looked in front,
And decide to move forward and
take the road less travelled,
To explore the options that was
Hidden away from the world
And left for the brave to ponder upon.
New is unknown, old is comfort,
Few can come out of their cocoon
To take flight and touch the skies.
And thus I started my journey
Along the road less travelled.

Always attracted by adventure,
Waited for it to be served on a trencher.
Loved to be in the centre of action,
Didn't work even a fraction,
Being as lazy as he was,
Opportunities slipped through the vase,
And the hard way he learned,
That his dreams had been burned,
With his habits that never turned.

Close your eyes and drink
That steaming hot cup of chai,
Before you fall from the brink
Of your dreams so high.

Drink it with your eyes,
Enjoying the colour,
And then with your nose,
Savoring the smell
Finally take a sip,
Awakening each taste bud,
With the sweet aroma of chai.

With each sip you experience
A whole new world,
That's the magic of Chai,
Once you have it,
you never wanna leave it.

Life looked dull for her
So she decided to take a turn
And have a pause
End the journey and
start a new one if possible.

It was the sound of music
That brought her back to
The beauty of life.

She realised that
when things are dull
We just have to fill them
With colours of joy and sorrow
To brighten things up.

And so she got back on track
On the journey of life
And towards the end of the road
Saw mysteries of old age and
Years of experience waiting for her.

Caught in the stigma of destroyers,
Blamed for all the destruction,
Punished by nature,
Eaten by greed,
Suffering the injustice,
There are still humans who care,
And there are those who don't.
For the deed of some,
Every human is branded,
For the benefit of some,
Every human is tortured.

Everyone says 'Be mature'.
For once I ask
What do you mean by mature?
Is it the ability to hide your emotions?
Or the blinded devotion?
Is it the need to be independent?
Or the constant pretending?
Is it the responsibilities?
Or the need for sociabilities?
Is it the lack of interest in fun?
Or the web of seriousness spun?
What is being mature?
Answer me if you can.

Each cell in my body is craving,
Every part hurts,
The sounds are too loud,
The light is burning my eyes,
Hunger has abandoned me,
Reality has broken up,
Sadness embraced me,
Each cell in my body is craving,
Just for you, just for a glimpse,
You are my drug,
Your talks the dose,
And a day without you,
I fall apart,
withdrawal symptoms take over,
And I forget to live,
But a call from you
And I'm back on track,
You are my DRUG.

India

I'm stuck in the middle
of war between two nations,
one screams attack while,
the other shouts defend.

I'm stuck in the middle
of political games
each party exploring ways
to squeeze out money.

I'm stuck in the middle
of city and village
one with its pollution
and enormous opportunities
while the other with peace
and scarce resources.

I'm stuck in middle
of nowhere and somewhere
searching for the meaning
of freedom offered,
is it real or just an illusion?

You,
Your sweetest smiles,
Your hugs and kisses,
And that beautiful face,
Your childish pranks,
And those crazy jokes,
Its you my dear,
Who makes me smile,
Be it sun or be it rain.

Present in every being,
And released after death,
Yet its immortal,
Changing bodies constantly,
For the better or for worse,
It guides you to peace,
And is tainted by your deeds,
Connected to the world,
Its the voice of the universe,
Speaking from within,
Its your soul in the spin.

Relationships are broken,
Jealousy is the token,
Left for the ones,
Where love is done.

When in a pinch,
It seems sweet,
When overdosed,
Its a deceit.

She was unwanted at birth,
They left her when they set eyes on her,
Thought of her as a burden,
Unaware that there was someone,
In a distant land waiting for her tiny feet,
She took her and gave meaning,
To her meaningless life.

There is a blurred line
Between your dreams and reality,
It's up to us to either
Erase that line or to
Redraw that line.

On this breezy day,
As the sun kissed the oceans,
I saw my dreams turn to reality.

As we walked beside the oceans,
With each wave that hugged my feet,
I felt complete in a long time.

As I looked into your sparkling eyes,
And the smile on your lips,
The beauty of your face,
Leaves me awestruck.

As you take my hand,
My mind goes blank,
My heart pounds,
And my breath stops.

As we look at the sky,
Watching it turn orange,
I wish for the clock to stop,
And for time to freeze.
Capturing this moment,
For a lifetime in my heart.

As we walk back home,
With me in your arms,
I watch my dreams turn into reality.

Monday feels like
a worked up day
and a never ending week
.
Tuesday feels like
the pressure building up
in a pressure cooker.
.
Wednesday feels like
the filling in the reality sandwich.
.
Thursday feels like
a worn out page
from my favourite book.
.
Friday feels like
"Goodbye stress,
Hellooo weekend!"
Kinda day.
.
Saturday feels like
rejuvenated soul off to party.
.
Sunday feels like world sleep day
accompanied by a movie night.

Each passing moment turns
into a beautiful memory
when you are around.
Each memory is cherished
with you in it.
For me,
You are the sky.
But for you,
I'm just a drop in the ocean.
Here, I wait longingly
with each passing moment
Waiting for you to see me,
Waiting for you to realise,
That the one you are looking for
Is sitting right in front of you.
We were written in the stars
Yet you stay oblivious
To the things aligned right in front.

Stranded I stood in an island
Off the shores,
Deep in woods,
Shouting for help,
That never arrived.

With each passing moment
Loneliness grabbed on
Slowly crawling up my legs
Like a leech sucking blood.

Several futile efforts of
Finding life that may have existed here,
In an island filled with poisonous apples
And no one to kiss you awake.

Dear Indians,

We have progressed a little and there is a long way to go...

Let's hope to live in a country where there are no more fights fought over who is greater: Allah, Jesus or Krishna; but where all religions are respected equally and live in harmony. A land where hard-working people are respected regardless of whether they are rich or poor. Let's all look forward to live in a country where it's population is not called 'chinkis' or 'kashmiris' but 'fellow Indians'.

That's the India I dream of every night before I go to sleep. Let's work together towards a nation that understands the saying:

"United we stand and divided we fall."

As she held her in her hands,
She took an oath,
To protect her innocence,
From this tainted world,
Filled with evil.

As she held her in her hands,
She decided to pour all her love,
Into this little being,
Sleeping peacefully in her arms,
Unaware of the evil lurking in the shadows.

As she held her in her hands,
She realised she had not just given birth but was reborn again,
And off she started her new life,
Just for the baby girl,
Who now looked at her with cute
And innocent eyes filled with hope.

You hated me,
even before you knew me.
And today we turn to each other,
in times of joy and sorrows.
It was gradual but beautiful,
to see our bond grow,
From hatred to love.
Today when I leave,
this place that I hated the most,
I Never thought would hold,
so many memories,
and would be missed the most.
But its not the place that changed
but your presence in my life
which altered the way
I looked upon my life.
You made me feel at home,
And supported me,
when I needed it the most.
You turned to be the greatest gift,
I have yet received.
Never expected us to get so close.
Love you my dear crazy friend.

Vows of eternal love was shared.
As the sun shone bright,
Moments of togetherness captured.
As the world stood witness,
A memorable love story had emerged.
