|I am just a girl who likes to write and have intellectual conversations. I'm not very extraordinary.|
I have not written on lettrs for a long while, so I thought I’d share this little note I had written:
He stared at her, watching her fall in love over and over again with a man he could never come close to. The girl that helped him so many times, joked with him about so many things, had already given herself to someone else long before they had ever spoken.
After his first real love had fallen apart, he noticed that she had taken an interest in helping him overcome it and find someone else. Sadly enough, the girl he wanted was her. What’s worse is that at some points, it seemed like she wanted him too, but that was truly never the case. He was only imagining things.
One day, when they we...
It was dark out, and rain pitter-pattered on ground, sending a petrichor bursting through the air. I unlocked the back door and threw my things on the kitchen counter. I had gotten home just before the shower got worse. I locked the door back, cautiously looking out the window to see if anyone had followed me home. You could never be too cautious. That's when my phone vibrated in my purse.
I dug through my bag to find it, and when I did, I noticed a strange number has messaged me. I slowly opened the text. It read:
I immediately panicked. Who is this person? How did they get my number? W...
Purity. Purity was the only thing I longed for in this harsh world. This cruel world of decay and depression. Yet I sat then, staring into the abyss of which I call my office. My eyes darted around the room with a pertinacity hard to define—my senses were all but tinctured in the darkness.
Butterflies. Their docility and grace were the only purity in the world. I caught them, loved them, cared for them; I killed them…preserved their bodies. I loved watching their purity stay; wishing the dust that piled onto their sweetness would be of my fancy—the collection of soft powder was inevitable, nevertheless.
Lepidopterist was ...
Society should be more like the sky. You can't judge the sky for being weird.
Getting new glasses is like getting a whole new look at the world. It completely changes how you see it. Sometimes the world may look better, sometimes it looks worse.
A thousand bolts of electricity spreading throughout your body, but it doesn't hurt. It's an intense yet good feeling.
A fire is burning within you, warm and passionate.
A butterfly multiplies into a thousand in a mere second.
To me, this is what love feels like. I believe love is the most powerful force on Earth. More than the force of gravity.
This is my first time doing the Skylark Challenge but I thought I'd give it a try… I think I did it right, haha!
Words used: Twisted, Dignified, Jasmine, Button
His face became twisted as he looked down at her for the last time. Her face was pretty, but showed no life at all. The scent of jasmine was faintly in the air. That's what she used to smell like. Her eyes were closed, but he knew if they had been opened, there'd be no life there anyways.
He fiddled with a button on his shirt, feeling the tears brim his eyelids. He used to be so dignified, but without her he was nothing. He watched as all the people left through the door, grief stricken. He gave her one last look...
Sometimes I wish I could put on a helmet when I go to sleep that will record everything that happens in my dreams so that when I wake up I can plug it in to my computer and rewatch it all over again.
Short Story I did for class! It's based off an Anime called Steins;Gate. It's not much, but it's there, haha!
I sat in the airport after I had gotten off of the plane. I had come to Maui in order to do some research without being bothered. You see, I am a scientist. Not just an ordinary scientist, though. I have made the idea of time travel possible. You may think I’m crazy, but since when are scientists not mad? It’s in our nature.
As I watched for my luggage (which was very easy to spot due to the fact it was a bigger than all the others…), my thoughts began to wander. Deep down inside I had a strange feeling. A feeling that something was going to happen. I only shook my head to...
No one truly hates anyone. We just feel that resentment towards someone because what the person had once did wasn't the best thing. That has nothing to do with hatred. We just can't handle the fact they did it.
If you love someone, you don't let it go. No matter how far away, no matter the years, no matter what emotions you feel. That's the only way a person truly knows, that that little swelling of the heart, the burning in your chest, is love.
Sometimes, you just need to open up your mind and breathe it all out.
Who knows, your thoughts could be brilliant.
Don't hide from the world, when you could be telling them your ideas on how to make it better.
Whether you write those ideas or say them, you, anyone of you, could change the world with one little stroke of a pen.
That is a key word to happiness.
Observe the little things because maybe one day, one of those things might make you feel joy.
The little things you observe make you think.
They make you wonder. The world needs more people that dream.
If A=N then what does this code mean?

If you're a nerd like me, you'll want to know the answer.
I'm very new here and I get the gist of how things tend to work. I'm not a very talkative person in real life, but writing my words down lets me loosen up a bit. I'm glad I found this app and I'm excited to meet all these new people. So… again, hi!
If you think about it, music isn't just beautiful sounds you hear from an instrument, or the songs that come on the radio. Those are just simple examples of what music is. Everyone experiences music every day when really, no one realizes that the thing they did created music. Music is simply anything that produces sound waves and gives off vibration. That is what music is. That is my definition.
