Why does the fact that someone is gay, matter so much?
Why is it so important?
I'm a lesbian. But my sexuality does not define who I am. I'm a human, a cheerful one. That's how I want people to think of me. Happy and gay, not just gay.
"I love you" she says staring up at the eyes of her lover. They were hidden behind a large, thick tree. One which has never betrayed them both and has hidden them from the hateful eyes of society.
"I love you too." the other replies with a smile. A smile which reflected happiness, absolute joy.
Can anyone else relate?

We should be going out to day
We should be happy
We should be holding hands
Instead we're far apart
We should be kissing in public
We should be making them jealous
We shouldn't be feeling this way
Not on this special day
We should be allowed to love
But their slowly killing us
I can't take it anymore
Please stop homophobia...
Why do people need love?
Why do people want love?
Why do people chase love?
Why are people crazy for love?
The answer is simple...
Because it is the closest thing we have to magic.
To those who are sad
To those who are not
To those whos minds are filled
With wild, racing thoughts
To those who are tall
To those who are short
To those who are big
To those who are small
You are unique
You are beautiful
I don't know how to finish
So please, smile.
Dear Best Friend:
You are like a sibling to me. We fight about anything and everything but seem to always start talking again without the need of an apology.
We just seem to understand each other.
We have long and pointless conversations to pass time and even though I won't remember each and every word we said, I will remember those special moments we spent together.
No matter how many miles apart we are or how long it takes for us to meet again, I will always remember you.
You are one in a million.

What is happiness?
A hot chocolate on a cold, rainy day?
The sweet scent of roses to show love?
Or, making someone smile because you decided to brighten their day?
I choose all, for happiness comes in all shapes and forms. Often when were too busy to notice. So appreciate each moment as if it were your last.
I am a lesbian.
I am proud. But being a lesbian or gay in general comes with its problems. Homophobes. People who disagree with same sex relationships.
But there are two types of homephobes:
1. The type which respects and accepts gays yet speaks their opinion without offending.
2. The type which deliberately goes out of its way to make the gay person absolutely miserable.
I have no problem in listening to opinions. All power to those who respectfully put their point across. But i do not know how many times I've seen my friend cry because the one person who should have supported her turned against her because sge was gay. I dont know how many times I've read news articles of gay men being ...
