Drew told me you're getting married /are married now.
I'm wishing you two a great time together!
Congrats on the new look and updated app. I'm in awe. I love it. The long hours, hard work and dedication paid off. I am so proud of you! You never stop amazing me.
Dear Rick, Doug, Eric, Craig, Kelly, Rob, Tim, Bob, Brad, and Nick,
It is with great pleasure that I write you with the new Army stamp on the growing lettrs network. You all have been great supporters of the lettrs and I especially want to recognize Eric Young for his achievements as the youngest grad here, blazing new trails in enhanced messaging. The quality the Academy puts out is amazing.
Also thanks to those "old grads" Rob, Doug, and of course Rick who helped us find the various funding paths to keep expanding and raising value. You are all part of this amazing team, and Kelly blazed the trail as the first advisor and later wise investor.
Collectively will help the world find the...
Thank you for letting me feel welcome.
I think it is a very good idea to make people start writing letters again. Speed writing like sms and Whatsapp does not promote writing in a well structured way. I believe that this app will help all of us!
If I see any way to improve your app, I will let you know.
To the sun,
Thank you sun for finally showing yourself. I will take that as a sign and window for me to get home before the rain.
To all the fellow lettr writers, I shall return shortly. Wish me luck so that I don't get caught in the rain on my bike ride back to the Lower East Side.
Thank you Eric. Great job so far. This is THE app I've been looking for. It is beautiful in every way. The design, the concept, everything! Well done!
I have been reading a lot of letters that mention how much they like the idea of bring back writing and the nostalgia that ensues. I encourage more letters that capture this and ideas on how we can make that experience even better on lettrs. Please feel free to privately or openly share more letters about your experiences and recommendations for lettrs. My goal is to make this the best writing experience possible. Make your mark...
Your lettrs friend,
Thanks for reading and commenting. I like learning how to use a new tool and I have always been a fan of letter writing.
It has been a long but great day. Now it is time for bed so that I can do it all again tommorrow...
Great to see more and more people using lettrs to make their mark. The idea of meaningful thought and real communication is entertaining and rewarding. Help others understand this more by sharing lettrs with your friends. We can all reinvent the letter together.
Although I love to hate you, I still consider you my home. Even through the coldest and longest winters and with the worst professional sports teams, I still enjoy the winters and follow every team. Maybe we all have ties from where we grew up. Either way, I look forward to seeing you soon. I am going home next week...
I look forward to seeing how much everyone enjoys the new look and feel of the Android app for lettrs. Tomorrow will be a big day not only for lettrs but for those that can now better enjoy the art of writing lettrs and making their mark.
Everyone at lettrs has done amazing work.
Dear Franklin Project,
As former veteran, I fully understand the necessity for “National Service.” I can truly answer, “Where did you serve?” with pride. Including my time at West Point and five years in the Army, I have been proud to serve the United States for 9 years. Now that I am out of the Military, the one thing I miss the most is being a part of a team for the collective good, to lead not for the bottom line but for the greater good of the whole. I am excited to see that The Franklin Project is engaging the future generation to understand how important it is to serve. Through service they can better understand how to be a leader, achieve goals, and make a difference.
I find it hard to believe that there is no simple bug tracking web app out there. All I want is the ability for all members of a team, technical and non-technical, to have an extremely simple way of posting bugs/issues. Every so called "bug tracker" application is way to cumbersome with project management features and with an annoying learning curve.
Therefore, yesterday I created an open, new and easy way for teams to report bugs. I only added a few necessary features, like describing the bug, uploading a screen capture, adding bug comments, and of course changing the status of bugs. Overall, it is better than emailing and consolidating bugs and is a lot easier than the current apps...
To all devs out there,
I spent the day yesterday at the Amazon Web Services Summit yesterday, and I left reassured in the services and infrastructure that AWS provides. lettrs is built on AWS and will continue to operate and scale with the ease and reliability of Amazon's services.
It is truly amazing how a company that started as retail has diversified to the point of defining how companies and governments build their IT infrastructure. Amazon Web Services is paving the way of innovation by lowering the cost of failure.
I'm prepared to scale lettrs to the 10 millionth user.
