Isn't it amazing how The Almighty has given us blessings that we never even asked for, yet we walk on this Earth, oblivious to what Our Lord has done for us. When we are affiliated by hardship we are quick to say 'Why me Ya Allah, why me?'. But when we receive blessings upon blessings we forget to even thank The Almighty. Why do we do this?"
This is the special paper of my family who lifts my spirits.
I met my husband 21 years ago in Madrid, Spain and we took a big chance, on feeling without thinking. We chose love.
We leaped without any sense of what could happen. In fact we spent 6 months writing letters and falling through our words.
Today love comes back to us.
There is a story that I read every day and night. It comforts me when I close my eyes to sleep and it draws them open for me when I rise in the morning.
It is a wonderful piece of work, full of dramas and mysteries that have me perplexed. Even when I think I get it, just as I cry out "haha, there it is!" this story will twist away, the plot will turn and again, I will be left trying to keep up with its brilliant complexities.
The story will build me up and up and up with joy and wonder, casting a cloak over my eyes with beautiful scenes and comforts, before every page that came before is torn to shreds and pulled in a new and unpredictable direction by some tremendous event.
I saw you shining tonight. You had covered half of your journey through the sky. Your light caressed the quiet river and the marshes, and they shimmered silently. Only the breeze made sound, humming a sweet, low song. The trees stood strong, but there was profound gentleness in the way their leaves rustled. God was singing His lullaby.
It was quiet.
Sometimes, it is all that we need.
Reported by Ibn Umar (RA): I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "A believer will be brought close to his Rab on the Day of Resurrection and enveloping him in His Mercy, He will make him confess his sins by saying: Do you remember (doing) this sin and this sin?' He will reply: My Rab, I remember.' Then He will say: I covered it up for you in the life of world, and I forgive it for you today.' Then the record of his good deeds will be handed to him".
(Bukhari and Muslim)
Narrated `Abdullah bin Abbas (RA): Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "Jibrail recited the Qur'an to me in one way. Then I requested him (to read it in another way), and continued asking him to recite it in other ways, and he recited it in several ways till he ultimately recited it in seven different ways."
A few more nights, a few more sleeps.
October will be knocking at our doors, my sweets!
Find your sweaters and grab your gloves, for the days will soon be here to fill you with love.
A magical chameleon of a month, changing one day to the next; run outside and soak it in. Run out and get your fix!
One day green, the next day red; orange, brown, and sometimes yellow instead.
And toward the end, a magical sight; the leaves rain down slowly, it all feels so right.
Like a snow globe with leaves, piling up on the ground. Leaves to be raked up and jumped in when found.
So open your eyes to the wonder of October! The month goes by fast, and it's a whole year 'til another.❤️🍁🍂
"And the blessed month has arrived
where the devils are all locked
and the doors of mercy are all opened
where pleasing Allah
becomes more of a blessing
rather than just a faithful duty
where sinners become repenters
and repenters become closer
where sadness is washed away
and happiness lingers the air
where giving becomes a want
rather than just a need
where fasting teaches us patience
and we learn to embrace it
where your heart feels at peace
as if longing to feel this closure.
The beautiful month has finally arrived.
Let's make the most of it."
The moment by itself is not beautiful, you take the moment in your hands and make it beautiful.
Never let anyone put you down for who you are, You all are beautiful in some way or another.
"A Hopeless Soul And Naked Heart"
Wake up in solitude, had a nightmare of memories full of fortitude,
Now, like always habitude, feeling quite Inaptitude.
I know, I’ll never get a chance again to come back to you.
It kills me when i think what if I would’ve made it through.
I think about the things I never had said to you,
And hey, all the love i felt and emotions too,
I'd never get to make it right, deep down inside I always knew,
My love, can i skip apologies and ask you to forgive me with your gratitude?!
I still love you, that'll never change.
Will it change? It will not. I do know, ah! wish there wasn't any pain.
Think about you every day,
I just c...
It was narrated from Jabir (RA) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever sees me in a dream has (really) seen me, for Satan cannot appear in my form.”
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr (RA) said: “It was said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ‘Which of the people is best?’ He said: ‘Everyone who is pure of heart and sincere in speech.’ They said: ‘Sincere in speech, we know what this is, but what is pure of heart?’ He said: ‘It is (the heart) that is pious and pure, with no sin, injustice, rancor or envy in it.’”
Reported by Abu Hurairah (RA): The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not ask me unnecessarily about the details of the things which I do not mention to you. Verily, the people before you were doomed because they were used to putting many questions to their Prophets and had differences about their Prophets. Refrain from what I forbid you and do what I command you to the best of your ability and capacity". (Bukhari and Muslim)
