Jabir b. Abdullah (RA) reported that Allah's Apostle ﷺ happened to walk through the bazar coming from the side of 'Aliya and the people were on both his sides. There he found a dead lamb with very short ears. He took hold of his ear and said: Who amongst you would like to have this for a dirham? They said: We do not like to have it even for less than that as it is of no use to us. He said: Do you wish to have it free of any cost? They said: By Allah, even if it were alive we would not have liked to possess that, for there is defect in it as its ear is very short; now it is dead also.
Thereupon Allah's Messenger ﷺ said: By Allah, this world is more insignificant in the eye of Allah than it (t...
"The word “love” in the Qur’an appears on over 90 places but interestingly it doesn’t define the word love but speaks about the very first consequence of love… ”committing.” Islam talks about commitment; if you truly love, then commit, if you do not commit then your claim of love is not real."

Cris-Cros up you go,
Trampling on the freshly laid snow,
Your burden is heavy,
So you lug it on your bones,
Your heaves are laboured,
But you can't stop to take a breather,
You chug down your peasant wine,
And go on!
Cris-Crossing through the freshly laid grass you go,
The ground is crowded,
So you knuckle a few out of your way,
Your hands are bruising,
But you can't stop pushing ahead,
You chomp down your peasant morsels,
And go on!
Cris and Cros you go,
Living is a rat race for you,
You yearn to be at the lead,
So you kill your conscience,
You yearn to be different,
But end up being just another rat,
You dream and dream and dream,
Then ruin and break and ruin,
And you go on!
Categories of the Signs of the Hour
It should be noted here there are differences in opinion amongst scholars as to the exact definitions of minor and major signs, as well as which ones form the major signs of the Hour. Some of the minor signs take a good passage of time before the Day of Judgement is established, others take place up until the first of the major signs occurs and yet others still will continue to take place alongside the major signs. These signs may occur at certain places and during certain times and to certain people. Some of these signs take place and come to an end whereas others can be on-going for some time, yet others are still to ...
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (RA) from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: Allah says: Fasting is Mine and it is I who give reward for it. [A man] gives up his sexual passion, his food and his drink for my sake. Fasting is like a shield, and he who fasts has two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. The change in the breath of the mouth of him who fasts is better in Allah's estimation than the smell of musk.
The Prophet ﷺ said, "souls are like conscripted soldiers; those whom they recognize, they get along with, and those whom they do not recognize, they will not get along with."
Reported by Jabir (RA): I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The best way to celebrate the remembrance of Allah is to say: La ilaha illallah (there is no true god except Allah)."
When you hear about my death
Don't mourn about it
Pray that Allah makes
my first day in grave easier
Pray that my grave is furnished
with the furnishings of paradise,
Pray that we meet again in Jannah.
Sometimes all it takes is a good selfie to make you feel better☺️
Minor Signs which Have Passed
1) The Battle of Siffin
Abu Hurayrah (radyAllahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The Hour will not be established until two great armies fight. There will be much killing between them even though their call is one." [Bukhari & Muslim]
2) Conquering of Quds
Awf b. Malik (radyAllahu anhu) narrated that he came to the Prophet ﷺ in his tent during the Battle of Tabuk, and he said, "Count six before the Hour... the conquering of Quds." [Bukhari]
3) Conquering of Egypt
Abu Dharr (radyAllahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said, "You will conquer a land in which there is qirat...
If you close your eyes and imagine me, I will be there. Whispering love and other things in your ear. You will feel me pressing my lips against your skin, in all the sensitive places that no one else can see. Imagine me there and I will be there with you, inside of you in a way that no one else has ever been.
Sometimes all we need is a good long vacation to recharge our body and mind.
Why is there such tragic
pain in our world?
Why are beautiful children
plagued by hurt?
What do you do when you see
pain flying loose and free?
How do you comfort those
who are locked in tragedy?
What do you do when our youth
no longer feel life is worth living?
How do you comfort mothers who no longer knows what to be giving?
How do you say we love
all of you, yes all of you?
Where does one's heart go
when cloaked in sorrow?
How do we help the hurting find
the strength to live for tomorrow?
What can one do to actually help this child suffused with grief?
What can give her mother
back her much needed sleep?
Where do all of these precious, burdened hearts...
I am thankful for the natural beauty and the essential language of Mother Earth, a feeling that transcends even my own words.
Narrated Zaid bin Arqam (RA): In the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ we used to speak while praying, and one of us would tell his needs to his companions, till the verse, 'Guard strictly your prayers (Qur'an 2:238) was revealed. After that we were ordered to remain silent while praying.
(Bukhari - Vol. 2, Book 22, Hadith 292)
When you display an act of mercy, ﺂللَّــہ (Allah) the Most Merciful will not let your mercy exceed his.
Belief in the Signs of the Hour
Part of belief in the last day
"Do they then wait for anything other than that the angels should come to them, or that your Lord should come, or that some of the Signs of your Lord should come! The day that some of the Signs of your Lord do come, no good will it do to a person to believe then, if he believed not before, nor earned good through his Faith. Say: 'Wait you! We (too) are waiting.'" [AI-An'am, 6:158]
Abu Hurayrah (radyAllahu 'anhu) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The Hour will not be established until the sun rises from the West, so when the people see this they will believe, but that is when faith will do no good to the one ...
