For i know that you harbor hate
For you harbor anger
For you harbor anguish
But, never shall it be shown to the world outside
For like a sly fox, you wait in the forest to catch me at my weakest moment.....
But never shall i go weak and down on my knees
Just like in a jungle, where strength prevails and survival of the fittest is the way of life.....
In this concrete jungle, to overpower and survive is the law
To live on the edge is the prima-fecia of the elite
For like a lion i shall wait for your arrival in the hide of a lamb
For i shall keep waiting.........

Words to be used
Oh! What you did to me
I will forever remember.
She had a way with words
Giving us million memories
Nurtured us from time to time
Heavy heart, goodbye start
Birds of different feathers and minds
You brought us together
You would be with me, forever
Soaking me, in memories
I would hum for my life
Entwined souls, Nurture...
PRESENCE (EXULTATION FOR A DEPARTING SKYLARK)
the world imagines itself your colours
and overlooks the truth
we pray to the heavens, soundless
you scream praises mid-flight
seemingly outpeacocked in size and beauty
-Shelley experienced the divine
Nature nurtured song spread on earth
What an amazing delight!
Birds of different feathers too chasing,
Overtaking skylarks seems hard.
Had flown down to the trees
Those fed them fruits.
Entwined one another in great joy,
Thought, let skylarks fly.
Under the radiant skyline
There're families with grievance.
They don't have any wherewithal
As communism took their livelihood.
Like clouds do with constellations, Communists swallowed an industry
By strike, strike, strike.
Now the proprietor is nowhere
And the workers too
While the communists enjoy wine.

The last evening of autumn
She is gone, showing just a cold emotion and he hurried to judge.
He was totally absent, looking how the light plays with the colors of brandy, while he was twisting the glass in his palm. A fire accompanied the atmosphere sending golden arrows, making the brandy more intense.
He looked... bewitched by those coppery colors.... those amazing coppery, golden colors ...
It was the last evening of autumn, the horizon seemed to break its line among the trees... the sad, naked trees like petrified, black ghosts on a foggy b...
Skylark Challenge 220
Grandpa sat in the balcony, a warm cup of coffee and the shawl carefully around him. He sat cross legged and looked at the sky. I was next to him. We sat in silence. But both of us knew, what was running in each other's mind. Guess that's what a granda - granddaughter relationship does to you.
The vapour from the coffee made insensible strokes and I was constantly reminding grandpa to finish his coffee. He didn't listen. Or rather he didn't wish to respond. Silenced stretched itself between us and I wasn't liking it. I wanted him to rant, vent out, shout - anything to make himself feel ok.
As I was about to bre...

Skylark Challenge 219
It was a misty Monday morning. Nothing unique about it. The regular routine gripped me and I was trying to find JOY. How can I? I thought to self. Scrolling through the innumerable letters written by my friends, I came across Rebecca. She gave me 4 words to write anything I wanted to. It was a PRECIOUS feeling. The push I got from the prompts, made me the most happiest. I was happy writing mediocre stuff, here and there. At the back of my head, I knew if I ever need a release of pent up emotions, I can come back to the skylark nest. The nest takes away the COLD, distant feeling replacing it with warmth. The WEIGHT is ...
Life is just once,
And so PRECIOUS,
Give up head WEIGHT
Find JOY around.
Don't stand at COLD feet,
What TWISTING time would bring?
Under the starlight Sapphire like flowers are bloomed. The merry making crickets may be disliking my presence. My ears are keen to hear the echos of your footsteps. If I had wings I would reach to you.
It's neither your kettle's glory
Nor the make of your company
That it contains water in side.
Just stop a while and think
What we trees really did?
We never ask to say that splendid
But don't remain threat us
Since we too have the rights to live
That much we beg you Humans.
