story: being well-spoken
"You're very well-spoken. Can you tell me a story?", he requested.
That was a very unusual request. His gesture took me by storm because my thoughts started running in all wild and weird direction. But, I tried to slide any creepy ideas aside because I didn't want to lose this date to my over thinking. So, I gathered myself together and took the risk of going on this adventure called deep-conversations-on-first-dates.
I started my story. "When I was 14 years old, my father sat me down and told me that I am stronger than iron, softer than mother's cheek and prettier than fine clutter of crystals.
It took me a couple of seconds to piece together all the adjectives an...
People’s Desires are Limitless.
There is the Basic Desire to live.
There is also the .....
1)Instinctual Desire for food
2) The Materialistic Desire for possessions
3) The Psychological Desire to be noticed.
We could not live without desires.
Often , desires generate the energy that enables us to move forward and improve ourselves.
The key question , therefore, is how we use Desires.
The Buddha’s Enlightenment ,
Does not lie in “eradicating” earthly desires......
But in infusing them with compassion and wisdom.
It is a Matter of Transforming
The turbid river of.....
a) Earthly Desires
Into A Pure Stream Of Compassion and Wisdom....
Can't you be a little less painful
Can't you be a little kind
Open were my arms
And you hid a dagger hid a behind
I hugged you
You stabbed me
I came with elixir in my hand
But all you had was poison in your head
To see love in your eyes
My only wish
But unaffected you stood
As I fell down
Just hold my hand for one last time
And I promise to forgive you for your crime
For I still love you
For I believe you had no choice
Your face slowly vanishes
As my eyes closes
A waterdrop on my face
Is it rain or your tear
Should I open my eyes
I have the strength
But I choose not to
For it is more peaceful to believe
That you cried when I died
Kyun banun main
Kisi air jaisa.....
Jamane me jab koi
Tum kya sikhaoge
Mujhe pyar karne ka tarika....
Maine maa ke ek hath se thappad
Aur dosre hath se roti khayi h.....
The science of living
And the method of loving
Both seemingly nice
But rest to eyes
So as to spectacle
Let the book remains opened.
His unpolished leather shoes
Improperly tied laces
Upon which his character reflects
What's to give him
Is it chair or hair?
That's you to decide.
The road looks bumpy,
the traveller getting restless and grumpy..
The big, the bright, the golden sun,
tossing the messy hair in a neat bun..
The lush green trees around,
those little children playing on ground..
The leaves, the flowers.. dancing and swirling in the wind,
the dark clouds shyly grinned..
The silent, the tranquil sparkling lake,
the flock of flamingos taking a break..
The hills, the valleys..the mountains and the grass,
the shepherd feeding his flocks as the travellers pass..
The beautiful journey..is truly a treasure,
the mystical experience is beyond any measure..
I just wanna
Come running to you while u open up your arms letting me in with love and a broad
smile and I hug u forgetting the world around me
That’s all I want for this life
I keep watching
As the noon lights play over his neck.
He has his head tucked in
Right under my chin
His hands around my waist
His every breath caressing me
His one leg on top of mine
And he is asleep.
I continue watching
Amazed in wonder
At the intensity of love
I feel for him
The urge to protect him
From all the worldly harm
And keep him smiling.
They say pain is shared
Through deeply connected souls
Maybe it is all true
When you meet such a person.
Coming from a hypocrite
Should count for something.
And yes, I believe that love exists
I believe in soulmates
I believe in all the romance.
Coz, every sweet gesture of his
Makes me weak in knees.
Can’t blame the universe can we ?
My soul, entangle with the karmic footprint of yours.
Every step I took rearwards
the universe pulled you one step back;
And though years I wasted taking steps back
thinking you were distancing yourself from me
I am spinning towards you.
Let us dance to the rhythm of our destiny,
Loving and fighting ,
Accusing and denying ..
I can’t imagine a world with you gone...
Love and the chaos,
The demons we’re made of,
I’d be lost if you left me alone...
I don’t wanna let go,
I know I’m not that strong...
I just wanna hear you ,
Saving baby let’s go home..
Lets go home, n i just wanna take you home...

Dear Effiel Tower,
You've been a dream Destination for many of us, be it either the beauty of Paris or the fear of Altitudes, anything could be felt with extremeness. I remember the last time a friend of mine visited you, she was so mesmerized by the way you portrayed the beauty of Paris and especially the night view. As a child I always admired the archeological beauty of yours, but as I grew old I understood how the hormonal changes of adolescence has made me fall in love with you for everything that you are. The archeological beauty which I once admired has become something special today. Today I feel why is it called the city of Love. I feel why It's been a favourite destination for man...
The price of Gold
Golden is the sun,
Golden the fields beneath.
Golden the swaying grain,
Gold as far as the eye can see.
A lone guardsman sits amidst this treasure,
Bare-Chested, barren hands.
You wouldn't believe even if I swore,
He owns All the gold of these lands.
His palace is all but a room.
The queen and two princesses wait.
For the emperor is a slave to all that gold.
A truly unfortunate checkmate.
The gold is useless unless sold,
To the market he now marches.
Sets up shop between the pillars of politics and poverty,
It's madness underneath those arches.
He comes with gold and leaves with pennies,
And no one has a clue.
he must sell gold to mak...
Bas ek baar milna ae zalim,
Dil nikal kar de dungi
Bas ek aah bhar dena,
Sab kuch chhod aa jaungi
Mujhe pukarke toh dekh lete
Mere zindagi sawar jati
Unkahi unsuni kahani banti
Tum hath jo de dete
Khwahishein toh kaafi the
Tumne nazarandaz kar dia tha
Likha toh bohat kuch tha
Tumne padna band kia tha
Dillagi ke is daur mein
Kuch panne adhoore reh gaye
Dil ke is kamre mein
Ek aahat se bankar reh gaye

What stops me?
I know I mean a world to you.
I know how lovingly you gifted part of your soul, your heart and your spirit to me, the undeserving one.
I know it’s only you who will collect my broken pieces when I am done with my stupid misadventures.
I know that it’s you who has a plan and vision to fight every storm on the way and emerge victorious all the time!
And that at this turn of our lives, it’s me who is your shackle, your barrier, your tormentor.
I know it all ... but the reason what stops me to be the person you deserve ... is what remains a challenge that I don’t even consider facing...
May be it’s cowardly or may be it’s just meant to be!
May be I am all wrong or may be ...

As days turned into weeks, weeks into months and months into years,
My warm smile slowly came back again and dried up my tears.
I started to find strength, from my hearts pain,
I also learnt, never to love anyone more, than oneself ever again.
