*The Story Of Us*
Have you ever seen the movie "Casual Sex?" The "joke" line of the two main female characters is "there's your boyfriend" - they say this when referring to two very unlikely prospects for their own boyfriends.
As my daughters got into their teens, this became a line we always used. We'd be shopping and I'd be like, "There's your boyfriend" - the intended target would range from the hottest young male on the planet to the goofiest, badly dressed kid to ever live. But it was funny - it still is funny. We still say it.
Then one day, I said it about my neighbor and myself - "there's my boyfriend," and it became an intrinsic joke between u...
Welcome to 2018! We hope you are all having a fantastic time in this new year.
For this week's writing prompt, we're challenging to to write a movie (script) about your life.
As many movies do, you can exaggerate the facts a little. You can also write one scene of course. In which case you write out one event in your life that you think is worthy of a short movie.
But most of all, have fun! Enjoy writing the story you want to share.
Tag your letter 'movies'.
Versos que se escapan
entre sábanas tan blancas
que se ocurren mientras ves
donde te imaginas estar
en las escenas apasionadas,
giras tu cabeza y solo ves
que te falta su linda mirada
la misma almohada.
You love me,
I love you.
You show me
I'll show you
I reflect you,
The very things
You're afraid of,
What I'm afraid of.
How willing are we
To face what we've
Been running from
For so long?
Only time will tell.~E.M. Fraser
The one who defines himself often suffers from the existential crisis.
In one of his letters, Vincent Van Gogh asked what was he in the eyes of most people and answered with what he wanted to become. The contrast irked when he labeled himself nobody, an eccentric, or an unpleasant person because more often than not, we miss the soul in things but Vincent had painted them all.
So, how could he be a non-entity?
How could anyone be a non-entity?
In his last letter, Vincent talked about his place near the stars and I wished he had understood it while alive that he was infinity and so are we- unfathomable and infinite; for no one can ever know our depths, not after what remains of us are so...
To my future girlfriend...
We may have not met yet, but know that I'm tirelessly looking for you. I've searched sporting events, and movie theaters for you... Even though I have social anxiety, I put myself out there in uncomfortable situations just to have a chance to meet you.
Once we meet, we'll have beach walks every Saturday, movie nights Sunday, and candlelit dinners Thursday just to be random. I'll even wear a tie. Every night, I'd ask you about your day, while you sip wine, and I'll rub your feet.
I'll show you my favorite movies, and binge-watch my favorite shows. I'll introduce you to all my friends, and hope they won't embarrass me. I'll take you on romantic trips, and try to m...
Dear Film Industry,
I'm in love with you, it's been more than a decade, still struggling with my family, society and your family. My family is completely practical, society is exaggerating and your family ( people from industry) are big time supporter of Nepotism.
I won't leave my love, unless I leave my soul. Afraid to imagine my life without you. Want to be with you forever and ever.
Hopefully we will be together soon.

"Don't just chase the possibilities but chase the impossible because you will learn a lot of lessons from the hard ones. Tough challenges can bring you to a good and fair success."
The confusion of intensity of life and the ferocious volatility of time often is followed by scrutinizing pain, eventually revealing the ludicrousness of life.
The complexity of the sinosuidal waves of time and life, as the two overlap each other with perpetuity has an unrecognisable familiarity with the waves of the sea that are comprised of saline drops, much like the composition of tears which are not just often, but rather always filled with unexpressed and crypt emotions. The stark contrast to the calm sea which even in stagnation can cause tsunamis to submerge a hideous soul in itself with the tiniest speck of a collision, unseen, unfelt by anyone taking place miles beneath the calm wav...

Dearest pen pals,
We'd love to hear from you! It's been a while and we were wondering if you had any good song and movie suggestions.
We've been playing the same old songs forever here. And we've seen Beethoven (the movie of course) over a hundred times.
So clearly we need something new.
What are your suggestions? Tag your letter 'movies' or 'music' depending on what suggestions you'll be giving us.
And who knows, maybe your pen pals will also give you some great new suggestions!
The Movie Moment
Think of about every great movie or play you've seen in your lifetime. . .
Think of the moment of perfect clarity when everything falls into place and the character has the wide-eyed look of a child, as they realise exactly what their life's dream is.
I have it on good authority(my own) that everybody seeks out this moment.
Today I shall tell you mine;
Motown jazz echoing throughout the room creating a gentle ambience. My hips swaying naturally to the music. I stand at the stove; lightly stirring a pot of aromatic stew, tapping a finger against my hip to the mellow tone of the keyboard.
Suddenly, a strong arm pulled my free hand and spun me around to come face to face wi...
I love watching movies and anime & maybe sometimes some sitcoms, but it's usually these two that I probably watch the most.
I'm just watching inuyasha for the sake of it, like I don't really feel any need to complete an episode or watch the next, as in binge. Haikyuu was a different story altogether, I had to binge it, cause it was awesome. And then I watch weekly episodes of Dragonball super, well that's like one a week, can be any day.
As for sitcoms, I dunno what u watched last, maybe an episode of Mindy Project, cause it's funny. I dunno where I lost track of flash either. Sometimes I binge sitcoms too and the last one I did was The Get down, cause it was awesome.
Yeah. The funny thing is - on the outside, I was an honest man, straight as an arrow. I had to come to prison to be a crook.📽📽

Independence , movies
Independence Day for sure would be my favorite!
We are always our best when fighting a common enemy and not each other.
We are bold, courageous and ingenious when it comes to preserving our great democratic experiment.
Survival is never dependent on just one person. It takes every single one of us contributing whatever we can to make this work. In the end of the movie the entire world is saved by sharing information with other countries.
On top of that we see Jeff Goldblum, Will Smith and Bill Pullman all in the same film.
Is this a great country or what?
