Love is a strange game...
If you play by the rules, you lose.
If you play with the rules, you win.
On the full moon night,
When the MOONLIGHT shone bright,
The young wolves-- the chosen eight,
Prepared to enagage in blood fight,
To receive the true alpha right.
The fire bowl was set to ignite,
And the shaman started the rite,
As the tribe elder clad in white,
Made his SPEECH full of skite,
Before the ceremonial site.
Once the ritual was over, the fight
Among the chosen-- the eight,
Began without any doubt or fright,
Where they showed their might,
In the battlefield for a fortnight.
A winner emerged though not quite,
Who the shaman predicted, so in spite
Of the obvious victor, he tried to incite,
The elder to denounce Lucrus and rewrite,
The victor as Miagos the...
KALEIDOSCOPE OF MEMORIES
Chasing butterflies under the warm sun;
Feeling the cool breeze rush over as I run;
Those innocent days filled with joy and fun;
Will they ever come back again?
Brownie the brown dog was my best friend;
We went on adventures that remain unsung;
Far into the heart of the woods were no one,
Would ask us to hush and quiet down.
Whether it was sunny, rainy, windy or gloomy,
The climate couldn't possibly control me;
I thrived everyday under the wide skies,
Dreaming a billion dreams with gleaming eyes.
Too many hands sailed into my lunch box;
Tales spun so crazy they could reach Mars;
Creative games consuming every break;
This was how school life was give or take.
Trees without leaves,
Streams without water,
Skies without stars,
Me if I'm not yours.
The soothing melody of,
Chirping birds and gentle streams,
Lulled the woods to sleep.
BIRTHDAY POEM - 12/02/1991
2 Little Love
0 From you
2 Is all
9 Need to be my best self so please don't
9 Leave me alone or disappear from my life ever
Lia was packing the last of her things as she prepared to move to the city. The small town she grew up in was filled with memories up to the brim. It felt suffocating.
As she emptied out the last drawer, she found a curious box with a tag that said 'To Lia'. A bit puzzled she opened the box to find a quilt, an ink bottle and scraps of parchment, along with a note.
"Here lies the Magic Quilt, one of Grenada - The Great Witch's invention.
To awaken him,
* Feed him ink with 3 drops of blood.
* Write your wish on a piece of parchment
* And chant the spell - 'Contingat' 3 times.
He can grant you but one wish. Choose wisely."
Engage Prompt - Magic Pen
If one pen could undo,
The wages of the orginal sin,
Earned by Adam and Eve in Eden,
Why not rewrite the beginning?
Birds with broken wings,
Don't fly the same skies again.
It takes only seconds,
To turn towers into rubbles.
But to rebuild the ruins,
May consume an eternity.
On the pages of a note,
I lost in the pile,
Is a suicide note,
I wrote while,
No one bothered to note,
I wore a happy veil.
The music I share with you,
Is the soul of all my feelings,
So please listen to it profoundly.
Perhaps we are lost souls trapped in an illusion called life.
And death is the only way we can wake up to reality.
Long after the sun sets,
While everyone else rests,
I arrive at home in distress,
Drained from everyday stress.
My hair is a mess,
My eyes look lifeless,
My bones cry as I undress,
Worsening my weariness.
I eat my food in loneliness,
Take my meds feeling hopeless,
Get into bed staying sleepless,
Perhaps cause I fear the nightmares.
I spend hours feeling restless,
Battling depression, being anxious;
Waiting for dawn's luminous,
To let me rest by killing the darkness.
My mind often travels,
To Places I cannot explore.
My favourite destination?
Your words of poison,
spoken without remorse.
Would you drink from a cup,
Made with the same potion?
More precious than diamonds is kindness;
More valuable than rubies is forgiveness.
Don't forget that they are priceless;
Just because you received them costless.
The most potent venom,
Is not found in wild creatures,
But in the lies of a human.
A courageous queen who fights,
Not to defend a king,
but a tiny prince or princess.
When all your hardwork goes down the drain,
And the people of the world drive you insane,
It's okay to let your tears fall like the rain,
Rather than slowly dying from the pain.
You cannot set me free,
Even if you find the key,
Because you fail to see,
That the lock is inside of me.

When life gives you lemons... 🍋🍋
Make lemonade and enjoy the drink🍹. Plant the lemon 🍋 seeds in the backyard. Tend to them everyday and water regularly💧🚿, until you have a tiny orchard full of lemon trees 🍋🌳. When the trees 🌳 bear fruit, harvest the lemons 🍋 and sell them. 🍋 = 🤑💰💸
When life gives you lemons turn them into opportunities. 😋
(Game Time: How many lemons can you count in this letter? 🍋)
There are two types of dangerous people in this world.
Those who cheat and those who get cheated.
When the waves hit shore,
The stray crab jumped in and rolled,
Into the deep blue.
We seek answers,
in the unlikeliest places.
We seek Man in God,
and God in Man.
In a town that was fast asleep,
The summer breeze made her midnight sweep.
Trees swayed and rustled contently,
Rocking the birds and squirrels gently.
The sky was alit with a zillion twinkles,
That shone on plants as dew trickled.
The crescent moon cast a mellow glow,
On clouds that floated above and below.
The lake stood mighty still and quiet,
Disturbed only by the playful fishes' duet.
Crickets chirped with frogs that croaked,
Unaware of the snake that darkness cloaked.
Flowers popped and waited to bloom,
At dawn when the sun consumed the gloom.
Cats crashed into dogs on their walk,
A comical chase ensued with no talk.
Laughter spilled over the tranquility,
As the s...
