There are two types of dangerous people in this world.
Those who cheat and those who get cheated.
When the waves hit shore,
The stray crab jumped in and rolled,
Into the deep blue.
We seek answers,
in the unlikeliest places.
We seek Man in God,
and God in Man.
In a town that was fast asleep,
The summer breeze made her midnight sweep.
Trees swayed and rustled contently,
Rocking the birds and squirrels gently.
The sky was alit with a zillion twinkles,
That shone on plants as dew trickled.
The crescent moon cast a mellow glow,
On clouds that floated above and below.
The lake stood mighty still and quiet,
Disturbed only by the playful fishes' duet.
Crickets chirped with frogs that croaked,
Unaware of the snake that darkness cloaked.
Flowers popped and waited to bloom,
At dawn when the sun consumed the gloom.
Cats crashed into dogs on their walk,
A comical chase ensued with no talk.
Laughter spilled over the tranquility,
As the s...
He knew those words weren't whispered to him; that they were only in his imagination. But he couldn't resist the temptation.
He dropped the book he was reading and walked over to the bed and stood next to it nervously.
He saw the dark skinned beauty seductively resting on top of the covers, fast asleep.
His imagination ran wild with all that he could do.
'You... Turn me on...'
He knew those words were still in his imagination, but oh how good they sounded.
'Let me please you...'
He felt a mad rush go to his head and impatiently bent down and let his hands glide over the smooth body of..

As the storm clouds danced,
Thunder rattled the heavens;
Lightning split the skies.
Since the day that I met you, my life has not been the same. The difference was subtle in the beginning but the more I spent time with you, the more it became apparent. The magic in your smile, the happy twinkle in your eyes, the kindness in your voice... It all set off sparks in my heart, and I was completely caught off guard.
I cannot trace back to the exact moment that I fell in love with you, but it began with me falling in love with your innumerable tales first. You are a truly gifted story teller and I am addicted listening to you narrate all sorts of tales. But my favorites are the ones about your town-- with the animals and birds, the many plants and trees, the beautiful sea and all...
The power just went out. There's a 🐮mooing outside like there is no tomorrow and I can hear my neighbor snoring like a 🐲. Trying to figure out which is worse while simultaneously trying to fall asleep. 😿
GIRLY MOMENTS : #2
'Hey girls! The light is awesome in this spot, let's take some pictures!'
All three girls assembled in front of the cellphone within seconds.
'Okay say cheese.' Said the initiator and they struck their cutest and coolest poses.
'One more! I closed my eyes.'
'Oops it's blurred. Hold your poses. Let's take another.'
'My hair doesn't look right. One minute please, I want to fix it.'
'Oh does someone have a comb?'
'Can I borrow your kajal?'
....... ....... ....... .......
~30 minutes later~
....... ....... ....... .......
'There you go again. Wait for us, will you?'
'I just love taking selfies.' ...
Scatter these pieces of my heart into the oceans of your soul and I will never be lost.
GIRLY MOMENTS: #1
"I love you." he said, his face contorted in despair and his voice filled with agony.
"I love you so much." She whispered back, hugging her pillow tightly.
But the heroine walked away without repeating her whispered words, and her heart sank.
"N-no! Don't leave him!" She said looking as desperate as the hero in the movie.
And then he cried under the rain and she couldn't take it anymore.
The dam behind her eyes broke and the water works lasted for a good half hour.
WOD : EPISTEMIC
The epistemic truth is that, our knowledge of the known, is a tiny drop in the ocean of unknown.
The summer sun shone,
Through the canopy of leaves,
Like rays of gold dust.
All the injustice in the world made him lose faith in humanity and in God. It made him sour to the core and turned his heart to stone for decades.
Until on a random day, on a random month of the year, a disabled soldier handed him a Bible and said, 'Jesus died for you and for me brother.'
And he realized his Apostasy had been invalid.
WOD : Palatable
She was shocked when she realized that she had fallen in love in spite of herself.
So she did the most palatable thing, she embraced denial.
PIECES OF ENCHANTMENT
On a cloudless night,
Under the vast starry sky,
I saw the constellations reflected,
In his deep brown eyes.
Bathed in the silver glow,
Of the full moon's light,
He looked like a celestial being,
With his alluring smile.
Into the silence of the night,
He spoke magical words softly,
And I felt breathless,
Entranced by the melody.
As a cool breeze blew,
Ruffling his dark wild locks,
I was captivated by his visage,
And his enticing aura.
The world grew quite and still,
Amidst my mystic thoughts,
As he gently held me close,
And my heart leapt for the stars.
When the night melted away,
Replaced by the dawn,
I feared he may vanish,
With the first rays...
A SONG OF THE DEAD
There I hid,
In plain sight;
From the light,
Of the shadows.
I felt his touch,
On my numb hand;
Heard the whispers,
In the deafness.
I looked around,
With blind eyes;
Hoping for life.
I was lifted up,
And I fell;
Into the darkness,
That shone bright.
I held on tight,
With a slacking grip;
Rescued for now,
Though lost forever.
I felt alive.
It was an end,
With a new beginning...
I was cursed to hell,
But I entered heaven;
Smiling at the devil,
Rescued by an angel.
"I'll never let you be alone."
Whispered the voice in her head, as she resigned to spend another sleepless night.
Flowers swayed gently,
In the February air,
As the sun set low.
KATSARIDAPHOBIA – FEAR OF COCKROACH
Oh big horrendous Cockroach!
How disgusting art thou to the naked eye!
Thy insecty feet and wriggly antenna,
Make me want to shrivel up and cry.
Ye hath caused me such great grief!
Mine body is struck with severe panic;
Mine mind, you have sent into over drive;
Quite soon ye shall turn me into a manic.
Ye ought not to move thine icky self so much!
Lest I grab a gun and shoot thine brains out.
Ye ought to teleport out of mine household,
Without doing any sort of round about.
I beg thee not to spread thine wings!
Ye make me faint and want to puke as is.
If thou wilt take flight, mine soul shalt depart,
And be lost in the insecty abyss.
Daydreaming about you is my favorite thing to do. Whenever my mind drifts to you (which is every other minute), I find myself imagining endless images and scenarios, both good and bad, mostly involving us. The good ones give me hope about the future and the bad ones are capable of putting the darkest cloud over my head.
I'll have you know, this is also how all of my 'what if...?' questions, that you despise so much arise. The good ones and the bad ones, and the ones in between that make no sense.
"What if I win the lottery and we get to go on a world trip? Where would you like to go?"
Or questions like,
"What if we can't convince our family to support our marriage? Wil...
Rain washes the earth.
For a moment it is fresh;
Painted pristine clear.
Dear tiny human,
It's been a year since I first saw your adorable face, kissed your tiny eyes, button nose and tender cheeks. My adoration and love for you has grown a thousand fold since that moment. Did you know that my love bloomed right when you were conceived in the womb?
I feel so happy seeing your chubby little face everyday and your dimpled smile warms my heart and makes my day. I love it when your little hands encircle my neck in the cutest of hugs as you fall asleep on my shoulder. And holding your sleeping form close to my heart colors me with an array of overwhelming emotions.
I love watching you walk with your unsteady gait and run and laugh as I chase you. I act goofy and da...
The white room
My mind has many doors behind which all my thoughts are stored.
Most doors have no key holes and are free for anyone to enter.
Some doors are locked, and the access is limited to only those close to me.
And few doors may stay locked forever because I forgot where I put the key.
In the deepest, darkest corner of my mind,
Under the great ocean of miscellaneous floating thoughts,
Hidden in pitch black darkness, is an old and damaged corridor.
The place is off limits to one and all; even I don't willfully cross the border.
The doors in this realm of my mind are bound heavily and continuously.
But no matter how strongly I hold them closed; barred and chained,
She was not like you and me; she was a little extraordinary.
She was not a city girl; she lived in a village beyond the hill.
She was not a made up doll; she was all natural.
She was not a trendy girl; she wore plain clothes and a fake pearl.
She was not a graduate; she had schooling and life experiences that were first rate.
She was not a corporate worker; she was a village school teacher.
She was not a house rebel; she keenly read her Bible.
She was not judgemental; she spread love because it is fundamental.
She was not a bit rich; she made free food for those beside the ditch.
She was not into shopping; she made donations and offering.
She was not a party goer; she went to the chu...
