|Hello World of Letters! Let's be pen pals! I'm just an individual with a lot on their mind and who has a love of conversing.|
There is this recurring moment. It's not quite the same each time but it's recurring. My happy moment starts with a meeting of the eyes, almost conspiratorially. Instant communication. A smile forms on my lips; a mirror of his. If there are such things as soulmates, I'm lucky I survived long enough to find mine. The moments are not long but there are many. Are you standing next to me? A sunrise lights up Lake Superior, giving it a deep blue glow. A slight breeze plays with my hair. The air smells fresh and full of potential. In the background, trees that appeared black moments ago take on a vibrant Forest green. The small town gleams as the Earth turns slowly. In the distance, a loon calls out and another answers. For a split second I debate diving into the crystalline waters of Lake Superior. Content in feeling alive, I stay rooted. Serenity encas...
