|Writing about moments, lessons, and thoughts as I trek through this world. Let’s write about stuff and stretch the boundaries of it.|
Don’t stay brooding
Don’t stay broken
Don’t stay angry
Take time to relax
Take time to show love
Take time to receive love
Take time to self reflect
Take time to eat and drink something delectable
Don’t forget the value of time, so learn how to carve time away for small pleasures
To Small Pleasures,
I thought as I got older the world would be less of a mystery, but it is not.
I thought as I aged I would become more acquainted and familiar with the characters of men, but at times people seem more strange to me.
I thought as became more educated and knowledgeable , information would be easier to decipher. Bad communication still requires work.
As I live, I know I am stronger than I ever imagine; have hope were it’s needed; and have confidence without slipping into arrogance.
“Morality cannot be legislated, but behavior can be regulated. Judicial decrees may not change the heart, but they can restrain the heartless.”
-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Let your story reflect the diversity in this world. Let your rainbow of words flow and add brightness and brilliance where it’s needed most. Don’t let unutterable words fade into a void, turn them into golden pixie dust and watch the magic happen.
De-Stressing In 2019,
The world seems more nonstop than ever. As you move through the day remember to take a beneficial sixty minutes for yourself and “checkout” of the demanding day to relax or decompress.
The time to de-stress is when you don’t have time for it. Take a temporary “checkout” to collect your thoughts and de-stress. Your mind, body, and soul will think you.
Never surrender likely dreams where the probabilities are in your favor. You may have to fine-tune them but that is okay.
Happy Three Kings Day!
Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler! Translated, "Let The Good Times Roll". It is countdown to Mardi Gras!! It is the Celebration of Three Kings Day!
Carnival season begins! 💜💛💚
Happy first Friday of the year!! It is a chilly and overcast day in the Nation’s Capital. It’s nothing that a good Cup of Joe can’t warm up. There is no place I’d rather be...well maybe LA, NYC or Prague.
Have a great day,
I hope last evening activities were festive and kind to you. It’s fitting to open the new year with hopes, plans, dreams and a hot cup of tea or coffee. As you begin moving through your day, you are probably becoming aware that tomorrow goes back to being business as usual. Enjoy your new year’s day and brace for the excitement of the days to follow.
As some move through the month of January to continue cultural celebrations, such as the people of New Orleans with Krewe parades and balls, remember the history and traditions of the events.
Happy New Year’s Eve Letterists,
It is the last Monday of 2018. I hope you have reconciled with the events of this year or making progress with them as you rollover into 2019. This year you may have experienced a life altering event or two. In the end, if you emerged a more enlighten and learned being, then there is your favor, grace, hope and progress.
Best wishes as you spend today counting down to 2019. The excitement for another year is some proof that no matter what has happened, you are ready for what is to come.
As this year closes out, remember the lessons learned. Let those lessons serve as a gentle and vivid reminder of how you must proceed in the New Year. Forgive yourself for mistakes made. For last year’s mistakes and successes belong to last year’s choices; next year lessons, successes and adventures awaits new choices. Have no fear, we will all enter it together.
Happy New Year,
Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays...however you say it ensure you enjoy this day. Celebrate with songs, laughter, movies, games and/or respectful conversation.

If you are able to read this letter, you have been blessed and afforded the experience to experience life. How you choose to act out that experience is your free will along with the accompanied risks, rewards and outcomes.
Letters For The Living
It’s Winter Solstice 2018 and a remarkable time to be alive. It’s a good time to witness events that will go down in history. These events makes one question the very fabric of progress. Regardless, time is moving and holidays and events are occurring. Life is not shutting down and this means we have stuff to celebrate. We can celebrate and be concern at the same time.
Dear Family and Friends,
I did what was best for me in 2018, without hurting or disappointing any of you. Thank you for seeing me through sickness and good health, now let us celebrate this holiday season and be merry.
Self Edification Is Beautiful-
I could discuss life all day with family, friends and strangers. All of the delicate and harsh experiences that happens. I’ve listen to some noteworthy experiences from people I know and people I meet in my travels. Nothing is more important than a mature conversation amongst family, friends and strangers. Sharing of ones lore can be meaningful and build new bridges between people where none existed.
The window to the world, consist of experiencing views or listening to others sharing traditions of culture, travel, food and family beliefs. It is how we identify our likeness and expand and build on our base and edify more than just your mind. The proper...
I want Mahogany and hot fluffy coffee. The steady ease of Sunday seized. Mac and cheese and good company please. Red wine after high noon and the Originals on a 50 inch in the afternoon. I want existing in today to be all that I need.
Magic After Dark
We've been doing this privately for 15 years. We've kept our secret for a long time. Only a couple close family and friends figured it out over the years. I remember our first encountered and you are just as masculine and attractive today as you were 15 years ago. You've always carried an athletic built that I appreciated during our intimate time together.
Over the years we both changed for the best, but we never stopped our non-regrettable and indulging episodes of lustrous moments. After dark, we become something together that no one would ever understand as your hand find and trace the right spots over my right spots. The touch, the grab, the caress, t...
Sending prayers and good vibes to my family, friends and colleagues in Florida. One thing I've learned is living is not risk free. You do your best to make good decisions and plan accordingly cause life happens.
Lots of Love,
Penned In My Life Diary
9am and my television is on full disrespect. College Game Day is blasting across the house. It's how I grew up, football four days a week from September through January. I never really mind cause, I enjoyed watching my brothers, cousins and friends be competitive and athletic. The excitement of loyalty should never be underrated or ignored. I am a true loyal fan to my teams...my people I support.
Some of the most important people to me, played the game and play the game! Some of my best memories will always be watching and cheering for others who are at their best or going after their best. For me, there will always be a some level of satisfaction in watching othe...
This Evening's Air
The chill in the air mixed with noise beneath my window, tells me Fall is in the air. The evening hustle and bustle, never stops for the changing season. We enter into a Fall state of mind, entirely on our own. We integrate and assimilate to the seasons, entirely on our own. The will to thrive and survive is habitual, I hope !
For The Moment,
Pumpkin Spice Living
I have already had my first taste of fall. It taste like Pumpkin Spice, y'all!

Downtime, Cause It Is The End Of Summer
What is downtime at the end of Summer? It is time for one more barbecue with family. It is time for one more romp to the beach, if you are not a Winter beach person.
What is downtime at the end of Summer? It is the opening weekend of College Football and the start of the NFL Season. It the time when we dress in our favorite tea, colors and support them no matter how bad they finish last season.
What is downtime at the end of Summer? It is the moment when we recap our Summer and make plans accordingly for the remainder of the year. It is the time we assess if we did what we plan to do during the Summer or did we just go with the flow.
I hoped everyone who celebrated the July 4th Holiday had a great time. And, for those that did not celebrate the holiday, I hope you had a marvelous day living life as well.
