Perhaps one of the songs that show best the value of time is '25 Minutes' by Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR). I've been hearing the song for a few years now and every time it fills me with a strange feeling.
According to the song, a man has just returned to his own town and has searched everywhere for the woman whom he loves, but in vain. Finally, he finds her at the Church in her wedding dress. She cries and tells him 'You're 25 minutes too late".
The song fills the listener with the pain and regret of the lovers. It fills one with a strange sense of urgency. An urgency to seize the moment!
It shows how just 25 minutes is capable of changing and shattering one's life, a life of dreams and ho...
Some of the most important decisions in life are made after a deep conflict between the mind and the heart. Often the mind gives us some very good logical reasons to go ahead with an option. However, the heart's consent is the most important factor. If our heart says that the step we are about to take is wrong, we should listen to it. Even if not listening to our mind seems illogical and we might face problems, these are just trivial and temporary. But by ignoring our heart, our conscience gets stirred up with guilt. We end up regretting it and this regret can last even a lifetime.
The mind is capable of deception, but the heart will always be loyal.
The heart is the key to true happiness!
The smell of books mingled with the aroma of fresh rain is pure bliss, a bliss which is incomparable!
The joy of being absorbed in fiction, and this absorption being accompanied by the beautiful and soothing music of the raindrops as they fall on the lush leaves and spring flowers before finally meeting the soil, is incomparable.
The way this strange phenomenon of rain makes one fully aware of the present and yet, while reading in such a weather, one is transported to a completely different world altogether. Such an awareness is incomparable.
The feeling of being present in the 'here' and 'now' and at the same time being lost in a nonexistent maze...

Who am I?
When you paint your imagination on canvas,
I look at it, admire it.
And often this admiration is for the brilliant blue sky,
While you intended to show me the grass, luscious green.
You paint a tree, while I find in it a lady.
I am the one who often makes you look at things
In your own work which you failed to see.
When I hear the songs that you sing
I identify with emotions which, maybe, you have never felt,
It is your profession to make songs,
And sometimes, you do so without putting in it your soul,
But every song that I listen to
Has a special significance,
There is a reason why I remember the lyrics, by heart,
Of my favourite teenage number
That spoke about falling in love...
You know you have found the one when you experience every known symptom of love
And beyond, when these symptoms are not confined to the initial months but get imbibed in you forever.
When time does not affect your relationship
And each moment is as electrifying as the very first day.
You know it when just one smile from him is enough
To brighten up your gloomiest day,
When just a thought of him is enough
To pump you up to face the hardest obstacles.
You know you have found the one
When your bond possesses the elasticity,
That depends not on space or time
But which is in itself strong enough to overcome all kinds of physicality.
You know it when you have gone through both
Good times and ...
The morning was as perfect as a spring morning can be, the sunlight streaming in through the window in full serenity, the light breeze carrying with it the the fragrance of fresh flowers and the essence of happiness.
Thought provoking it is to see how a day so bright and sun-laden can transform into a grey, rain-clad one. Within a span of ten minutes the
serene sunlight of the morning was covered by a blanket of dark clouds accompanied by heavy showers and crackling thunder. And then it stopped, as quickly as it had started. The sky, though still grey, was now quiet, making audible the birds' farewell chirping before they retired for the night.
As twilight gave way to night, the moon was vi...
Freedom is but a state of mind. If you think you are free, then you are. The bondage, the cage is only psychological. With conviction and belief one can break the toughest walls and overcome the biggest obstacles. All it takes to break free is the possession of determination. If one is determined, no problem can be unsolvable. The solution becomes visible on it's own. Positivity creates immense energy and a person who possesses it becomes string enough to face every situation.
Thus, no matter how difficult the circumstances are, a belief is all it takes to be free. Believe and you are free.
Writing, according to me, is an extremely powerful mode of expression. Compared to the medium of speech, writing is more flexible, giving the reader the chance interpret things their own way.
Apart from this the process itself is beautiful, the way thoughts get a permanency. The transformation of something completely abstract into something concrete really seems awe inspiring at times. It's like a connection with the divine, a kind of meditation in all possible ways. The initial concentration followed by the gradual ascent till one reaches the zenith of thoughts, ending finally in a strange peacefulness and satisfaction.
This peacefulness and satisfaction is what I wish to attain through L...
