God, thank you. I know those words are never going to be enough, but thank you. Thank you for all the ways you have blessed me, for all wonderful people you’ve put in my life, for all the things you have given me, to strengthen me and bring light.
I know life won’t always feel this wonderful, but thank you for right now. And please help me to lean on you in the good and bad. Help me to know in all things, and on all days, you are my God.
Ancient Nahuatl Blessing
“I release my parents from the feeling that they have already failed me.
I release my children from the need to bring pride to me; that they may write their own ways according to their hearts, that whispers all the time in their ears.
I release my partner from the obligation to complete myself.

I thank my grandparents and forefathers who have gathered so that I can breathe life today.
I release them from past failures and unfulfilled desires, aware that they have done their best to resolve their situations within the consciousness they had at that moment.
I honor you, I love you and I recognize you ...

I was passionate about the position and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and through this, I was able to apply ...
Of National Costumes and Identity
When one speaks of national identities, almost instantly I think of 'national costumes'. These are traditional garments worn by citizens of different nations all throughout the world.
As a child, I used to love, perhaps I still do, Walt Disney's "It's A Small World" song. I remember fondly playing it on my Fischer-Price music box. You know, the kind with the knob dial on the front that which you must wind-up to play the tune, and there was a window above the dial, that shows images while turning. Mine would show illustrated images of little citizens of the world in their traditional or national costumes.
From a very young age, I've always look ...
